Locals and campers have woken this morning to find a huge bite taken out of the beach at Inskip Point near Rainbow Beach.

It is the second major landslip in the area in the space of three years.

Local charter operator Greg Pearce and Parks & Wildlife Service senior ranger Colin Lawton tell Mark it is a semi regular occurrence and the beach should recover.
