Growing anger over age pension delays
People applying for the age pension are waiting months in many cases to receive their money, forcing to live on their savings or credit cards.
The Department of Human Services admits it is at fault because it has failed to properly plan for changes in the administration in the pension.
National Seniors spokesman Ian Henschke tells Mark it is simply not good enough to tell people they need to apply at least 13 weeks in advance to get the payment.
