Last financial year people passing through the Brisbane domestic and international airports left more than 10,000 items behind, two-thirds of which went unclaimed.

For the second year Brisbane Airport is about to put those items up for auction online with all the proceeds going to charity.

The auction is being run by Pickles and operations manager Rhys Jones tells Mark there the items you’d expect to find as well as some very unusual ones.
