Good news and bad news on kids cancer

New figures released by the Cancer Council Queensland have delivered some mixed news about cancer rates for Australian kids.

The numbers show cancer rates are increasing with almost 770 children under the age 14 diagnosed each year, however mortality rates have fallen by 38% over the past two decades.

Cancer Council QLD CEO Chris McMillan tells Mark the results reinforce the need for more research.
