It has been revealed more than 50 restaurants and cafes on the Gold Coast have closed their doors in just the past four months.

Broadbeach has seen more than its fair share.

Sally Neville from the Restaurants and Catering Industry Association of Australia tells Mark even with the closures there are more restaurants trading now on the Gold Coast than the same time last year.
