The Magic Millions on the Gold Coast is going ahead after the repaired track passed the test gallop.

Chris Nelson from Racing Queensland told Jason Matthews on 4BC Wide World of Sports, “I was a bit concerned about how quickly this had all happened with the replacement of the turf, but if they’ve got this back up and running so quickly then that’s an outstanding effort and the jockeys of course rode across it this morning and they said they had no issue with it whatsoever.”
