Charity Rural Aid is urging flood affected farmers across the east coast to register for support.

The group is now encouraging farmers in Queensland, North West New South Wales and Northern South Australia to register as access improves and the true extent of losses are revealed.

Rural Reporter Alexander Nimmo spoke with Chief Executive John Warlters about what the organisation is doing to help.
