Ray reports Blue Mountains City Council has approved a Mayoral Minute delegating selection and oversight of an ‘independent’ investigation into staff appointments and asbestos allegations to the Council’s lawyer, Trevor Cork, to ensure evidence and findings will be protected by ‘legal professional privilege’ and not released to the public.
