Education Minister considers oversight of non-public schools following recent scandals

A dark underworld of AI fakes and pornography within Queensland schools has been revealed.

There have been two cases in a week, the most recent at Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Noosaville.

Queensland Education Minister John Paul Langbroek told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “These types of incidents do make me question whether we need to look at some other sort of oversight of these non-state schools.”

“Because for a lot of it, it’s them agreeing to their responsibilities, but in some cases, we’re seeing they’re not carrying through.”
