Normally when we think of archaeology we think of searching dusty deserts and thick jungles for ancient ruins and hidden treasures.

But a fledgling field of the discipline is looking up, rather than down, to the artifacts of our move into space.

Space archaeologist Alice Gorman (aka Dr Space Junk) is a leader in the field and she explains to Mark it’s important to preserve important parts of our past for the future.
