The Coalition party room meets tomorrow to decide whether to back Malcolm Turnbull’s National Energy Guarantee (NEG) policy.

To get holdouts such as Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce over the line Mr Turnbull has opened the door to the government underwriting new baseload capacity.
