Congestion busting immigration cap
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced immigration will be capped at 160,000 people a year for the next four years.
There will also be two new visas to encourage skilled migrants to establish themselves in regional areas which include will Adelaide, Darwin and Newcastle.
Immigration Minister David Coleman tells Mark the new cap will help take some of the pressure off capitals like Brisbane where the infrastructure is struggling to cope with the ballooning population.
