Computer scammers are taking a new approach to fleecing people by preying on their willingness to do the right thing.

The ‘Remote Access’ scam involves contacting people and telling them hackers have compromised their computers and to help track the culprits they ask for access to the unsuspecting victim’s computer.

As Brian Hay from Cultural Cyber Security tells Mark the scammers claim to be from trusted organisations to lull victims into a false sense of security.
