The single use plastic bag ban has brought the whole recycling issue back to the fore in the past few weeks and one of the biggest issues with recycling, is coffee cups.

It’s estimated that 1 billion coffee cups end up in landfill each year in Australia but a University student from Macquarie may have come up with an idea to solve the problem.
