Childcare strikes for high wages

Employees from about 100 Queensland childcare centre are expected to participate in industrial action over a campaign for better pay.

The unions lost a major five year equal pay case with Fair Work Commission in February, where they applied for a 35 per cent pay rise.

United Voice Lead Organiser for Early Childhood, Linda Revill says they have the full support of parents for the strike.
