Bus Driver Safety Measures

It’s taken almost 2-years, and more than 400-attacks, but finally the Palaszczuk Government is rolling out measures to keep Queensland bus drivers safe.

A review of driver safety was sparked after Manmeet Alisher was killed when he was set on fire in an horrific attack at Moorooka, in October 2016.

Tom Brown from the Rail, Tram and Bus Union tells Ben why the 5-point safety package will make Drivers feel safe while simply doing their job.
