Brisbane will be the centre of the NRL universe next season when every single game in one round is played at Suncorp Stadium.

The deal came to fruition after the Palaszczuk Government and Brisbane City Council stumped up money to lure the historic event here.

Eight matches over three days is expected to draw fans from across the country and pump $60m in the Queensland Economy.

Suncorp Stadium General Manager Alan Graham tells Ben it was their Double Header model that helped the NRL to convince all 16 teams to sign on.
