Almost a year on from the fatal shooting that claimed the life of Senior Constable Brett Forte, he’s been posthumously honoured with a Commendation for Brave Conduct.

Four officers risked their lives in the Lockyer Valley as a man shot them with bullets from an automatic rifle.

Brett’s father, Stuart says it’s still very raw for the family but is proud that his son has been recognised.
