It’s been revealed that last financial the Brisbane City Council refunded around $850,000 in parking fines to 13,106 motorists.

The most common reasons for refunds include errors made by parking inspectors and faulty meters.

The council opposition transport spokesman Cr Jared Cassidy tells Mark he thinks the numbers are just the tip of the iceberg.
