Basin plan milestone

Sustainable Diversion Limit adjustment projects in Victoria have been determined, with the Commonwealth pitching in 29 million dollars to start the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project.

The SDL initiative is designed to reduce the water recovery for the environment in the Murray Darling Basin Plan by 605 giga litres.

Nine projects have been endorsed by the Victorian Government.
