South Australia will be home to the country’s most advanced meat processing facility.

Thomas Foods Australia vowed to rebuild in Murray Bridge, after its previous abattoir was destroyed by fire in January 2018.

The new facility will be home to 2000 workers, and is expected to return to production in November 2020.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Chief Executive Darren Thomas.
