Australia In Space

Australia has a long but a largely unheralded history in space exploration.

Everyone is familiar with the movie The Dish but it just scratched the surface of how Australian scientists, engineers and our facilities have worked to help humankind reach for the stars.

Space historian Kerrie Dougherty is planning to set the record straight at the upcoming World Science Festival in Brisbane and she tells Mark it’s an exciting time for Australia’s involvement in space.
