Australia’s entry into the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 catapulted the competition to the forefront of the national consciousness.

On the Gold Coast this weekend 10 of the country’s top acts including Kate Miller-Heidke, soul duo Electric Fields and indie pop group Sheppard will vy for the honour of flying the Australian flag in May.

Also taking the stage tomorrow night for the Eurovision – Australia Decides broadcast will be operatic pop singer Mark Vincent and he tells Mark he’s hopeful his song This Is Not The End will book his ticket to Tel Aviv.
