BRISBANE’S Anzac Day Parade is in danger of being scaled back because of a blowout in security costs.

The funding shortfall comes after the State Government “palmed off” the committee to the corporate sector.

The Brisbane Anzac Day Combined Parade Committee has written to Assistant Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Jennifer Howard in February asking for greater funding in light of rising costs.

Media Spokesperson for the Committee Allan Callagan has told Mark the troubles the Parade is facing.
