Queenslanders are being fleeced out of a record amount of money through elaborate scams.

Coinciding with Scam Awareness Week the ACCC released its 9th annual report on scam activity and it seems we’re being fleeced out of money more than ever before.

The figures are astonishing!

Are we becoming more gullible? Are the scams harder to detect? Or is there just more of them?
