Australia’s national firearms amnesty saw 57,000 firearms handed in between July and September last year. After the latest school massacre in the U.S, pressure is building on the Trump administration to impose similar gun regulation. But will it happen? Michael McLaren talks with Associate Professor Philip Alpers from the Sydney School of Public Health on the likelihood of change materialising.
