When we think of robots, we tend to think of something out of The Terminator or Minority Report.

This is something a bit different.

Nanorobots are made up of DNA and protein which can be targeted directly to tumours to stop them growing.

Ben spoke with Professor Greg Anderson from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute who told him how long this research has been in the making and whether nanorobots can be used as a replacement to treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation.
