30km/h speed limits to protect pedestrians

The deaths of two pedestrians on Brisbane streets in less than a fortnight has promoted calls to reduce speed limits in all built up areas.
The Pedestrian Council of Australia wants the 50km/h limit slashed to just 30km/h.
Its chairman Harold Scruby tells Ben it’s the norm in Europe and would definitely save lives.
