The Queensland government has announced a $1-million package to help the state’s embattled strawberry growers as they deal with the contamination crisis.

The money will go towards promoting Queensland strawberries, investigating how to improve the integrity in the supply chain and to help growers for the remainder of this season.

The key will be restoring consumer confidence and Lecturer in Advertising at Sunshine Coast University Dr Kelly Choong tells Mark it will simply be a matter of time.
