An artist has rendered some of the stars of Wide World of Sports as Renaissance portraits, with questionable results.

Ray Hadley was particularly taken aback by the artist’s rendition of sports broadcasting legend Ray Warren.

“I again call on Channel 9, if you want to go back to the Renaissance period, Michelangelo’s statue David is what you should be typifying Rabs as!”
