Police are hunting up to three men after a woman was shot inside a house in Brisbane’s north.

Emergency services were called to Handford Road shortly after 11pm and found an injured woman inside a home.

The 23-year-old was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment, where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

Nine News reporter Jordan Fabris told 4BC Drive the woman’s condition is believed to be improving after she underwent surgery today.

Police say they don’t believe it was domestic violence-related but suspect it was a targeted attack.

The three men remain on the run.
