The Moreton Bay Council has successfully passed an initiative in hopes of reducing Queensland’s housing crisis.

Moreton Bay Mayor, Peter Flannery, told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “It’s great news for the community and the people in Moreton Bay who are doing it tough at the moment and are trying to find somewhere to put a roof over their head.”

“I think local governments should be more involved with the discussions on how to move forward, and what we can do a group, collective together…we need to work together,” Mayor Flannery continued.
