All parking meters will be switched off in every Brisbane suburb until the end of the month.

The Lord Mayor announced the move on Breakfast with Neil Breen this morning following the state government’s call for workers to return to the office.

“Also in our King George Square and Wickham Terrace parking stations, half-priced parking there as well,” Adrian Schrinner told Neil Breen.

“If people save a few dollars on parking, they can spend a few dollars in a local business.”
