‘Mega’ wind farm to be built on the Darling Downs

The state government has announced a near-$200 million wind farm will be built on the Darling Downs.
The first stage of construction will see 42 wind turbines, capable of powering almost 80,000 homes, built near Dalby.
It’s part of a broader $362 million investment into renewable energy announced today that is expected to support 820 jobs.
