Following the incident that occurred at Cross River Rail, Minister of Transport and Main Roads Mark Bailey has provided a response. 

A man in his 50s is in a critical condition after he fell 12 metres from a scaffolding platform at the Cross River Rail site at Dutton Park.

The Construction Forestry Mining & Energy Union have begun a snap strike, which will continue until Monday.

Minister Bailey has responded at a press conference today, “At an appropriate time I will reach out to the family…”
