Major disruptions on south-east Queensland’s rail network
There’s major dramas on south-east Queensland’s rail network for the afternoon peak.
Commuters are being advised of hour long delays on many lines.
“We are having major disruptions across the rail network, we had an overhead power line issue at Bowen Hills, and that is such a critical point in our network that it is causing more than 60 minute delays for a lot of our services,” Queensland Rail’s Sarah Dickson said.
She advised passengers to look at the Translink journey planner or talk to staff at train stations.
The cause of the issue is not yet clear.
