A local school student has brought a number of celebrities together as part of an inspiring short film.

Villanova College student Tom Price told Neil Breen the pandemic highlighted the prevalence of poor mental health and suicide in youths.

“I have a real passion for film and media and I thought: ‘Why not act on it?'” Tom said.

After consulting with the school councillor and Head of Senior School Matthew Levander, Tom’s project was underway.

The result was an almost four-minute video featuring community leaders, celebrities and school students with a very important message: You Are Not Alone.

Tom told Neil Breen the video came together “just out of luck, for the most of it”.

“We didn’t really have any connections with any of them.

“We just messaged them on social media, on Instagram Messenger and the amount that replied was incredible, really.”
