It’s officially confirmed that Albion Park raceway will be demolished to make way for a new Olympic Games Venue.

The new Breakfast Creek Indoor Sports Centre will be built on the site and is expected to host basketball and wheelchair basketball come 2032.

It’s unclear at this point what it’s all going to cost, but Harness Racing for Queensland has done pretty well in the deal.

The chairman of Albion Park Raceway Club, Brad Steele, joined Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons to discuss the changes.
