The Brisbane Broncos have named a full-strength squad for the match against the Melbourne Storm, but veteran Corey Oates is notably absent. 

The Brisbane Broncos have released the team list for this Friday’s Qualifying Final, with Corey Oates named as the 18th man, and Jesse Arthurs to replace him on the wing.

Brisbane Broncos Head Coach, Kevin Walters, told Bill McDonald on Wide World of Sports, “…It was a tough decision to be made…I just felt that Corey is still not 100%, he’s just come back from complications with his knee…”

“He was very professional about it all, understood the situation, obviously very disappointed as well, but very willing and able to fight hard to get his position back and I’m sure he will do…” Mr. Walters continued.
