Gold Coast vaccination clinic forced to close its doors over lack of demand
A GP on the Gold Coast says she’s been forced to close her COVID-19 vaccination clinic today due to a lack of demand.
It comes as Queensland today surpassed a 50 per cent double vaccination rate.
Doctor Natasha Yates told Sofie Formica she’s frustrated interest at her clinic has dropped away in the last few weeks.
I've canceled my Pfizer #vaccine clinic today – not enough people want it!! Other clinics finding the same. What's going on Qld??
Maybe it's because it's back-to-school week?
1/100 UK kids who catch Covid end up in hospital. Think about how many that adds up to in each school.

“It’s not just us, because we’ve also had contact from other practices around the Gold Coast saying the same thing.
“We have to try to get vaccinated before the borders open up to protect our people.”
