Former state archivist Mike Summerell has responded to comments made this morning by Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman on 4BC Breakfast.

Ms Fentiman questioned the timing of Mr Summerrell going public with a series of allegations levelled at the Queensland government, in an interview with Neil Breen.

Mr Summerell, who did not want to come on air, responded to the comments in a statement provided to 4BC Afternoons.

“The personal attack on me, by Shannon Fentiman is hugely disappointing.”

He said his “wider integrity concerns were never investigated”.
