With the Matildas captivating Australia, Football Queensland has created a strategy to capitalise on the interest generated from the Women’s World Cup.

CEO of Football Australia, Rob Cavallucci, told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “What we’ve seen during the World Cup and how that’s emerged and translated into the level of interest, I think, has been the result of very careful plans and well delivered plans over the past three years and hopefully well executed plans.”

“You capture [the hype] it a number of different ways, we have to have the right football experience for young boys and girls…  ” Mr. Cavallucci continued.
