Football Queensland is calling on the Federal Government for funding progress, in light of the $200 million announcement. 

Football Queensland CEO, Rob Cavallucci told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “In Queensland, with the current list of projects, just at a community level, we need about $60 million across three years, just to bring them up to meet immediate needs…”

“I think the steps taken are a great place to start but we absolutely do have a long way to go, in terms of being able to ensure that the large number of women and girls who are making the decision to play football…can do so in an environment that is equal to what the boys are getting…” Mr. Cavallucci continued.
