Energex confident in Queensland crews as Tropical Cyclone Alfred approaches

With Tropical Cyclone Alfred set to make landfall tomorrow morning, Energex is confident it will have enough Queensland crews to handle the aftermath.
Energex Spokesperson Brett Judge told Jason Matthewa, “Depending on how our people fare during this, there are crews that respond on the Gold Coast, live on the Gold Coast, crews that respond in the suburbs of Brisbane, they live in Brisbane. Same with the Sunshine Coast.”
“So we’ve got about 1500 that we can call upon, we hope.”
“But you know family comes first, and their safety comes first. So, our people will be looking after their own first before they go out to look after others,” Mr Judge continued.
