Insurance claims from the last financial year have revealed the worst crash hotspots across Brisbane, with a number of infamous roads again taking out the top spots. 

AAMI spokesperson Anna Cartwright told Laurel, Gary & Mark that Gympie Road in Chermside saw the most crashes.

“It’s a very busy road,” she said. “There’s a lot of local streets and it’s a very busy shopping precinct, so that puts a lot of congestion on the road. And then we have driver distraction still at play.”
