Brisbane institution hits the market

Scott Emerson

A Brisbane institution is on the market.

The heritage-listed Pineapple Hotel at Kangaroo Point has been owned by the Singleton family for more than three decades.

Queensland director of CBRE Hotels, Paul Fraser, says it’s a popular jaunt and it was a big decision from the family to put it on the market.

“They’ve owned it for 32 years, and this is not a decision they take lightly,” he told Scott Emerson.

“I mean this genuinely, I have been speaking to them for six years about this decision and what they want to do.”

He’s also hinted at the price, which he says could be record-breaking.
