Biloela family wins case in Federal Circuit Court, future still uncertain

The Murugappan family have had a win in the Federal Circuit Court this morning.
The court ruled Immigration Minister Alex Hawke’s decision to prevent parents Priya and Nades and their six-year-old daughter Kopika from applying for further bridging visas was procedurally unfair.
The win means any decision to revoke the family’s bridging visas will need to be reconsidered.
The family’s future in Australia remains uncertain, despite today’s win, with their visas set to expire in September.
