An ambitious masterplan to redevelop the Big Pineapple attraction will go ahead after a long-running ownership battle was resolved. 

The tourism icon has been tied up in a bitter legal battle over the site’s ownership but a settlement means the big plans can now go ahead.

A number of businesses operate on the site, including Wildlife HQ, Treetop Challenge and Cavu Distilling.

Cavu Distilling owner Matt Hobson told Laurel, Gary & Mark he’s excited to see the site revolutionised.

“It’s been used for a lot of great things in the past but I just can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the future.”
