The firebombing of a tattoo studio in Brisbane’s north has stoked fears that an apparent bikie war is set to escalate.

The studio is owned by a senior member of the Rebels and the attack follows the shooting of another Rebels member early last month.

Criminologist Dr Terry Goldsworthy from Bond University tells Mark it is vital that police come down hard to stop any war in its tracks.
