Skipping breakfast may not be weight loss taboo
Conventional thinking holds that people who skip breakfast in an effort to lose weight are actually doing themselves more harm than good.
It was believed those people more than made up the kilojoules by eating way too much at night to satisfy their hunger.
However researchers at Monash University have discovered that eating breakfast doesn’t actually prevent people from eating later in the day and may in fact put weight on.
Aloysa Hourigan from Nutrition Australia tells Mark she’s taking the results with a grain of salt.
